January 16 marks the 76th anniversary of my birth. Big whoop.
Kay got me many nice things, including a very nice pair of very nice shoes. so nice I said it twice.
They cost more than I paid for my first car.
(To be honest, I probably did not pay full fair market price for that car; bought it from a relative who was glad to get rid of it.10 year old Ford Fairlane with doors that didn’t close right.)
Anyhow what I paid for my first car seemed fair to both of us, and it was less than Kay paid for a really nice pair of shoes.
About a year ago, Kay bought a new car
It cost more than I paid for my first house!
