AESOP’S TRAVELS

The Western Writers of America named AESOP’S TRAVELS winner of the 2024 Spur Award for Best Traditional Novel. Spur Award winners and finalists were announced March 9 at the Tucson Festival of Books. Dan received his Award, along with other winners, at the WWA convention in Tulsa, OK, on June 22.

Since 1953 WWA has promoted and honored the best in Western literature with the annual Spur Awards, selected by panels of judges. Awards, for materials published during the previous year, are given for works whose inspiration, image and literary excellence best represent the reality and spirit of the American West.
